XBreed XBreed is
a mixture of XP, Scrum and Alexanderian ideas developed by Mike Beedle.
XBreed utilizes SCRUM as its management framework while adapting a
slimmed-down version of Extreme Programming for its development process. It
was designed with the intent to develop "reusable software in record
time." By employing design patterns to create reusable objects, XBreed
creates a library of components that can, ideally, be easily reinsterted into
new software projects. The development process is highly dependent on the
capability and knowledge of its team members, requiring strong knowledge
transfer and little communication overhead to keep the project running
smoothly and efficiently, requirements that are aided by the use of SCRUM. Web
